Niles Education Foundation supports many unique activities and opportunities for students and community. The Foundation maintains a busy schedule of events and activities throughout the year and is always in need of assistance. We would be grateful for your support with these events, whether monetary or on a volunteer basis.
Gallery
The Niles Education Foundation has amassed a substantial photo gallery over the years — from pictures of students and teachers in Niles Community Schools to pictures of our annual Legendary Evening event to pictures of other community events the Foundation has hosted or participated in, and more.
Grants
A grant can be $1,000 or under. A grant is one-time funding, and it must be innovative and original to the district. In addition, to qualify for a grant, funds are not available through the district to cover the cost.
Projects
Thank you for your interest in the Niles Education Foundation (NEF) grant/project program. The program is open to all certified Niles Community Schools staff members. A project can be more than $1,000 and it may be a one-time gift or take up to three years to complete.
Fundraise
Fundraising is the lifeblood of our organization. The Niles Education Foundation has more goals, programs, and opportunities than can be handled by the organization alone. With the help of many supporters, the Foundation raises funds for programs that cannot be funded with tax dollars.
Howard-Ellis principal to be honored during ‘Legendary Evening’
This year’s legendary Niles High School alumni that will be honored is Michelle Asmus. Asmus is a graduate of Niles High School and attended Michigan State University and Bowling Green State University where she received her bachelor’s degree in elementary education and her master’s in educational leadership from IUSB.
